Marmot waiting to be released ...healthy and ready to go!
THE RELEASE in Eagle Meadow area at Niagara Creek, 6500-7000 ft elevation, and before Sonora Pass.
Marmot brought to us from Sonora pass area at an elevation of 9000 ft.
Setting up his area and spreading out some food.
It took him about 15 minutes to finally come out and explore his new home. We
brought his nest box that he had been staying in while at Rose Wolf to give him
some comfort. Plenty of rocks and crevices for him...lots of vegetation and water.
